| HOMEOWNER CRIES FOR HELP... |
| posted: September 8th, 2008 - 2:04pm |
QUESTION:
Hi - I just purchased a 3yr old home. The AC unit cools the house just fine but literally the fan on the outside unit turns on and off every minute. Any ideas on what this could be? Thanks.

ANSWER:
If the fan is shutting off but the compressor is still running you probably have a fan cycling control on your unit that is not adjusted properly. I think this is probably the case as you say the house is cooling ok if you want to adjust it you will have to take it apart and look at it and describe it to me, look for a small copper fitting screwed to the smaller of the two copper lines on your unit.
