QUESTION:
Hi, we have a locked thermostat and cannot unlock it. Anyone familiar with this: Ultrastat...it has 3 buttons on the bottom of face plate/ System and Fan/ Override/ More. Then it has an up and down button on the right side. Could really use help so I don't have to buy a new unit, thermostat, fan, control?

ANSWER: First of all, instead of trying to find any hvac installers, you may want to buy another stat at HD or Lowes so you don't have to go through this again but if you need to find the access code, it will probably be holding down a certain combination of buttons for 3 seconds, you can pull the face of and look for manufacturers name and model number then you should be able to go online and get the installers guide to help or you can go to your local HVAC supply house and they should be able to help you.
