| HOMEOWNER CRIES FOR HELP... |
| posted: September 8th, 2008 - 2:04pm |
QUESTION:
I just changed the fan condenser fan motor and capacitor (both from the same electrical motor shop) and I still have to give the fan the slightest push to start it, then it runs and cools fine. I have a Goodman unit with a dual capacitor. any ideas would be appreciated.

| ANSWER:
The capacitor you bought is either bad or you have wired something wrong. You can check the capacitor if you have the right meter or you can just take it back and either have them test it or swap it out.
