| HOMEOWNER CRIES FOR HELP... |
| posted: September 8th, 2008 - 2:04pm |
QUESTION:
We had our A/C guy do an "A/C tune up" so we could get a $50 rebate from the Edison Co. The form was returned to us as he left out the "Condenser Saturation Temperature". The ambient temp that day was 75 degrees. We have a 5 ton unit. Would anyone out there be able to tell me a reasonable number I could put for condenser Saturation temp so I can resubmit this form. I'm having trouble getting ahold of my A/C guy. |
| ANSWER:
105 degrees if the unit is properly charged you should condense at about 30 over the outdoor temp. |
